Hip Hop for Adults with Toni, Intermediate
Mondays, 4:30 to 6:00 (resumes free trial week and fall session). This is an upbeat, music-centered class, with a focus on dance conditioning, Hip Hop vocabulary, and fresh choreography with a Toni twist.Toni started out dancing in the club scene in Boston when she was 15. She then majored in dance at Sarah Lawrence College. She studied different forms of Hip Hop in NYC for 10 years, and has cultivated her own style that involves isolations, basic breaking, footwork, and new current styles. She infuses her training of contemporary modern and belly dance.
Dunham Technique (low int. to int.) with Cyndal
Tuesdays, 11:00 to 12:30. Katherine Dunham was a pioneer in dance, fusing African, Caribbean, Americana, ballet, and modern. Learn the beauty, power, and grace of Dunham Technique. Patricia encourages participants to explore the dance at their own pace. Focus is given to alignment, conditioning, basic Dunham vocabulary, and individual creative expression. Dancers with background in other techniques are welcome!
Classical Ballet for Adults/ Teens (mixed level) with Ernesto
Tuesday 4:00 to 5:30. This multi-level open ballet class will focus on developing classical technique at your pace. We will work on simple to intermediate combinations to improve placement, coordination and develop an artistic movement quality. It’s a great class for anyone who likes to move and wants to learn more about ballet or how to incorporate classical dance into their own work.
Tuesdays, 5:30 to 7:00. You asked and we listened! We now offer a Hip Hop class with the adult beginner in mind, Tuesdays 5:30 to 7:00. Drop Ins or Class Sampler Packs welcome! Ballet for Adult Beginners, with Caitlin
Wednesdays 4:00 to 5:30, (begins free trial week and fall session). Have you always wanted to learn ballet? Now is your chance! Learn the basics while building strength, agility, balance, and grace that will carry into every aspect of your daily life. Free childcare is available upon request by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org 24 hours in advance of the class.
Belly Dance, Fusion Style, with Cyndal
Wednesdays, 5:30-7:00 PM, Cyndal Ellis teaches a funky blend of middle eastern dance styles with a little hip hop and jazz flavor. First-time dancers enjoy the accessibility of this fusion style of belly dance. Students of all backgrounds appreciate the deep core intelligence and sense of alignment gained through regular practice.
Gentle Morning Dance Flow with Cyndal
Thursdays, 10:15~11:15, beginning free trial week and fall session. Flow into your day with a gentle, no impact dance class. Focus will be on connecting breath to movement, balancing strength with flexibility, and working at your own pace. Exercises will include floor work, barre work, and progressions that draw from modern dance, ballet, and Dunham Technique. Some guided improvisation will be included as well.
Dunham/ Modern Technique with Cyndal
Thursdays 5:30~7:00 (no class 9/14). Dunham Technique is a fun fusion of modern, ballet, and Caribbean folkloric dance. Katherine Dunham was a dancer, anthropologist, and social activist, dedicated to an holistic approach to dance. Cyndal will focus on whole body conditioning, basic Dunham technique, across the floor progressions, and short choreography with a modern twist that anyone can learn. Beginners are welcome, but some background in dance or other movement techniques is helpful. Modifications are given as needed.
Journey Dance with Claire
Future Time TBD. Movement for everyone! No experience necessary. Dance to music with guided movement and free exploration. Connect with your body intelligence.
This dance class weaves simple, guided movement sequences and free exploration. Practiced barefoot to inspiring world music, your dance is an empowering journey of transformation. You are led on a deep and exhilarating dance experience to activate your own power, sensuality, love, and innate wisdom. Journey Dance combines organic movement, improvisation, creative visualization, affirmations, and an exploration of your body’s energy centers. Contemporary Ballet (mixed level), w/ Caitlin
Saturdays 12:30 to 2:00 (summer session only). This class will include all components of a regular ballet class but also combining contemporary arm movements and dynamics. We will focus on transitions and musicality for center. All ages and levels welcome.

Zumba Gold with Adra
. Saturdays, 10:30~11:30. Here is your chance to join the party while keeping the pace you want! From Salsa to Cha Cha Cha, Mambo to Merengue, there is a dance style to fill your cup of tea! We invite you, any age, any level to try Zumba Gold/ Intro to Zumba; a low to no impact workout. Chair modifications will be included. This party is for you!

Creation Station with Katie
(3 to 7 years) Thursdays 4:30 to 5:15 .Foster a love for movement! Students will be learning, exploring, and creating with the dance elements including space, time, force, body and movement. Develop and refine dance skills and technique through exploration and practice. Short informal performances will conclude each session.
Jumble Tumble with Katie
(3 & 4 yrs) Future Session TBD. (Parent participation optional) An introduction to dance, designed for children developing their coordination. With guidance, students will discover movements and rhythms, explore dance concepts, and learn listening skills, all while having fun!
Dance Mix Up with Katie
(7 to 9 years) Future Session TBD. Let your creativity shine! This class focuses on all the elements of dance by understanding, exploring, developing, creating, performing, and evaluating. Improve musicality, technique, and performance skills while boosting self-confidence! A short informal performance will conclude each session.
Modern Dance with Cyndal
(10 to 12 years) Future Session TBD. We will be learning basic technique, vocabulary, and exploring the movement elements. Each class will include a warm up, progressions across the floor, and learning phrases. Overtime, each phrase will be combined together into a dance! Class will culminate in an informal performance the last day of class.
Hip Hop with Cyndal
Future Session TBD. Learn the basics and explore your own style. Develop musicality, strength, and flexibility while gaining confidence in your movement abilities and honing your expressive voice.
Family Dance Time
Future Sessions TBD. Children and Parents/ Caregivers explore movement together. Wear your baby! Dance side by side with your toddlers and older children! Cyndal and Asa will guide the class with a focus on creative play, rhythm through movement, and basic dance vocabulary.
