On Saturday and Sunday, December 7 and 8, the doors and halls open for folks from Southern Vermont and beyond to experience the hospitality not only of the artists, musicians, bakers, cooks, circus performers, and craftspeople of the Cotton Mill, but also of other local participating vendors. In addition, there will be a display of artwork by students K-6 from Green Street, Oak Grove and Academy Schools. This is a must-do social and shopping event for the whole family: So much to see, so much to do, so much to sample and to buy! This year the Cotton Mill Open Studios boasts approximately 50 participating businesses offering tasty treats, enticing performances and holiday gift items for sale. From painting and pottery to fiber arts to jazz, circus and dance performances, there is something for everyone. There will be a number of volunteers on hand to help guide you around the buildings and floors so that you don’t miss anything.
