Words from our community…
“I took my first hip hop dance classes with SoBo studio nearly a year ago. I was pretty nervous because I had never danced before and didn’t know what to expect. I was hooked almost immediately. Toni, our hip hop teacher, is one of the most hysterical, talented, and vibrant women I have ever met. Her teaching methods are fun and engaging and make it very easy to grasp the material we’re learning. Dance has helped me release tension, become stronger, more flexible, and more confident in my body. You might even call it a life changing experience! Because of this it’s now my favorite way to exercise, and by far the most fun.We dance in a judgement free zone and the class’s participants are always incredibly excited to welcome newcomers. I am still with SoBo studio almost a year later, and am so happy with how far I’ve come as a dancer. I feel blessed to have access to a studio as amazing as this! I would recommend SoBo to dancers of all skill levels and experiences.“ ~Kate Averill
“I would like to thank SoBo Dance studio for enabling me to dance again. I’m 85 years old. I’ve studied dance most of my life, so I still NEED to dance! There was quite a while when I had nowhere to go that suited my age and my training, but I found it with Cyndal at SoBo, and I will be forever grateful. Her Dunham classes are delicious and beautiful!“ ~Judith Price
“Zumba Gold on Saturday mornings is the most fun I have all week! The music and choreography are great, and participants can modify as needed for more or less impact and intensity. The very talented instructor, Adra, gives 110%! If you’re looking for a workout that will make you happy while you sweat, check out Zumba at 10:30 on Saturdays!“ ~Kit Whallon
